Ads: Joop SS '09

German brand, Joop, released its Spring/Summer '09 campaign featuring Natasha Poly and Sean Opry, which was shot by Inez and Vinoodh. I like it because it's different than most fashion ads you see. Joop has created depth by mixing photography and props within the ad. It also means you can put more product into the space! ;) Kudos. I love it.

If you've never heard of Frida Pinto or seen Slumdog Millionaire, you're missing out. Frida Pinto is GORGEOUS in this sequined Jean Paul Gaultier dress with Bally patent peeps. I love the peak of hot pink under her dress. It adds playfulness and youth to her look. Having her hair in a ponytail also adds to the simplicity and casualness. I really love it. I want this dress so bad!

Padma Lakshimi's New Jewelry Line

Padma Lakshimi of Top Chef is starting her first jewelry line that will be available in May at Bergdorf Goodman. The collection includes cuffs, necklaces and rings that will range from $600 - $6,600. The fine jewelry is influenced by her Indian heritage and Padma says "It's inspired by things like seeds and pods, like cardamon, lentils, and cloves."

The few images of her collection are beautiful. If only I had money to splurge! What about you? What do you think of the collection?

This Louis Vuitton campaign featuring Madonna is already in publications, but I found a cool behind the scenes video of the shoot. I love the French-inspired theme that was concepted by LV's designer, Marc Jacobs and shot by Steven Meisel, who also shot her "Sex" book.

I still can't believe Madonna is FIFTY years old. I envy her body and the confidence to pull off anything!

Alexander McQueen is the first designer for Target's new initiative, Designer Collaborations. These collaborations are with well-established designers while Go International focuses on up-and-comping designers. Go International will continue in conjunction with Designer Collaborations. I can't wait to find out who the next designer will be! :D

The McQ line hits stores March 1 and continue for a limited time until April 11. Can't wait!
